About Founder
Dr. Uttam S. Tiwari is the visionary founder of the Gayatri Foundation, which he established in 2012. With a deep commitment to improving healthcare accessibility, he has dedicated his career to various areas including general healthcare services, public health initiatives, emergency response management, rehabilitation projects, and training and capacity-building programs. He has also spearheaded several research studies aimed at enhancing health outcomes for communities in need.
Dr. Tiwari’s overarching goal is to create an accountable and integrated health system that can effectively serve the diverse and densely populated city of Mumbai, a city home to millions. Through the Gayatri Foundation, he seeks to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery, ensuring that essential services reach even the most vulnerable populations. His work reflects a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, laying the groundwork for a healthier future for Mumbai and beyond.
